ENGAGEMENT CEREMONY (SANGJIT)

Dress Code: Semi-Formal or Traditional (all cultural attires encouraged)

We'll be kicking off our pre-wedding itinerary with a traditional Chinese-Indonesian engagement ceremony one week before our wedding. This engagement ceremony, or Sangjit, has customs that are unique to each family's traditions. At the heart of ours, we celebrate with the meaningful Necklace & Gift Ceremony - a gifting tradition that symbolizes the unity of two families - followed by a celebratory feast.
